Aarhus

I visited the Aarhus festival last week – a city which has just been nominated the European City of Culture 2017. So many of us might be back there. Firstly to dispel a myth. I went by Ryanair and it was absolutely fine. It’s worth paying for priority boarding and i was tense about the luggage allowance. But it was clean, on time and calm. No problem.

The airport makes Southampton airport look large. It’s tiny. and it’s 50 minutes into town. But once you get there it is a bright, friendly and as you would expect in Denmark beautifully designed….. more to follow
